Join us for our September monthly meeting back at the Seattle Tennis Club in Seattle! Ed Sozniho will be our guest speaker representing the Wild Steelhead Coalition. Ed will update us on the current state of wild steelhead.
The Wild Steelhead Coalition is working to restore wild steelhead populations in their native watersheds to levels that provide self-sustaining runs and economic vitality to local communities.
“Wild steelhead are an icon of the Pacific Coast, a bellwether for the health of its watersheds, and the life force of an international community of passionate anglers. Yet the state of Steelhead Country is precarious, and the only way back to steady ground is with a paradigm shift in how we manage these invaluable fish.”
