Pass Lake Outing – April 6, 2024

Mike Nolan will be hosting a day outing at Pass Lake which is located six miles south of Anacortes, along the side of Highway SR-20.  This trophy fly-fishing only, catch-and-release-only lake has a boat launch, but use of motors is prohibited.

Fishing opportunities include stocked Rainbow Trout and Brown Trout averaging 15 inches with some up to 28 inches.   Fly recommendations would include chironomids, woolly buggers, dragon and damsel fly nymphs.

Meet me by the boat launch at 10am on Saturday the 6^th.  The Club will provide hot dogs and brauts along with beverages for those that sign up in advance.  A Discover Pass is required for the area.

Members, if you can take another member in your boat to fish at the Pass Lake outing, please acknowledge this in the “I will Assist With” sign-up, so that we can organize members to fish with you.
