Bill Neal will make a presentation of numerous awards made in recognition of club members (or others) who have distinguished themselves through service to the club and the community.

Guest Speaker:

Nick Chambers grew up on the Rogue River in Southern Oregon and has been a passionate angler his entire life. Working for Trout Unlimited on its Wild Steelhead Initiative and Sportsman Conservation Project Nick draws upon his background in fisheries research and management to be an effective advocate for Washington’s sport fisherman and wild fish populations.

Nick will be talking about Trout Unlimited’s suction dredge mining reform campaign including its history, where it stands now and the path forward for enacting meaningful reform in order to protect critical fish habitat. Nick will also give a brief overview of TU’s Wild Steelhead Initiative and their efforts to protect and restore wild steelhead populations and sport fisheries targeting them.
