December 14th Holiday Dinner & Virtual Fundraiser

The Holiday Dinner will be held at the Seattle Tennis Club on December 14th starting at 5:30 PM.
Due to the Covid situation, we will once again hold the virtual WFFC Fundraiser Auction December 9th to 14th which also includes the opportunity for you to make WFFC Foundation Donations.
At the Holiday Dinner we will be displaying a choice selection of “STC Silent Auction Items” for viewing and cell phone bidding on the Greater Giving Virtual Auction App (i.e. Guided Fishing Trips, Art Work, Fly Plates, Lodging, Rods & Reels, Wine & Spirts, etc.). REGISTRATION FOR THE AUCTION:
You must register on the Greater Giving website prior to the event. If you do not register, you will not be able to bid or donate. This is NOT the same as registering to attend the dinner. To register, visit https://wffc2021.ggo.bid/. Once you click the link, you will be taken to the auction homepage. Click “GET STARTED” to register.
We will also be holding Raffles for the wonderful hand made Fly Boxes with flies and the Raffle Tables that will be holding lots of interesting fly fishing and novelty items for the lucky ticket drawing winners. The Raffle tickets will sold for $5/ticket with a 4 ticket $20 minimum buy (cash or credit only).
We hope to see you all at the Holiday Dinner to enjoy the festive time with all of us together once again. Sign-up early so that you won’t miss out as the dinner seating is limited to 126 attendees.
Both the Virtual Fundraiser and the Holiday Dinner will be the primary funds providers for the 2022 Club’s Outreach, Conservation, Outings, Education and Youth activities and we need the memberships support for these two activities to make next year a success.
Holiday Dinner Menu Options:
- Grilled 14 oz. rib eye with blue cheese demi glace, roasted fingerling potato, braised escarole
- Black cod seared in red soy with mustard greens and coconut jasmine rice
- Duck breast with fried polenta, truffle butter, braised greens with sherry vin or
- Seared chicken breast with mashed potatoes, chanterelle mushrooms, chicken red wine demi glace
- Vegetarian – Chef’s Choice
The dress code for men is a coat and tie, please – its a special party!
All who sign up for the Holiday Dinner, will have to show a proof of Covid Vaccinations or a negative FDA-approved PCR Covid test, that was administered within the past 72 hours, at the Seattle Tennis Cub entry Guard House to be admitted to attend the dinner and which will also be recorded by the 1st Ghillie when you check in for dinner.
