Beginning Fly Fishing Class will not be held on Saturday, March 21st, beginning at 9 Am for 6 hours at the Evergreen Covenant Church on Mercer Island due to the current risk of the COVID-19 virus. The rescheduled date is yet to be determine and will be posted soon.

The class is taught by WFFC members. The class tuition is free for WFFC Members and $50 Non-Members that can be applied the $80 dues to become a Washington Fly Fishing Club Member if you choose to do so. Each student will receive a copy the WFFC Beginning Fly Fishing Manual. Class size is limited to 15 students.

Casting 12:30 to 2:30 pm

– Fly Casting Techniques

– Fly Casting Instruction

Wrap-Up and Q & A 2:30 to 3 pm

Students are asked bring their own rods and reels with a dry type line and tapered leader for the Casting Instruction. If you don’t have one yet, we will also have a few loaner club rods & reels for use at the session.
