Fly Tier’s Roundtable
April 11, 2019 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm
|Recurring Event (See all)
An event every month that begins at 7:00pm on day 11 of the month, repeating indefinitely
The WFFC Fly Tying Roundtable is held on the second Wednesday of each month (October thru May) at the Evergreen Covenant Church on Mercer Island beginning at 7PM.
You are invited to come and participate in an informal fly tying session. Beginners as well as accomplished fly tyers can benefit from these sessions.
Some of our club’s best tyers attend regularly as well as several of the instructors from our Beginning Fly Tying Classes and Project Healing Waters (a nationwide veterans support program).
We regularly share patterns, information on new materials and assistance with tying techniques and skills.
If you have not tied flies this is an excellent opportunity to have a personal hands-on session to see why we get so excited about fly tying as a part of our sport of fly fishing.
If you have them, bring you own equipment and some materials to tie your favorite fly or others are willing to share theirs.
The sessions are open to all, members or not. They are also a good opportunities to meet and get to know other avid fly fishers.
